Who can do this

NHT contributors aged 18 to 70 with at least 52 weekly contributions, 13 of them in the last 26 weeks. First-home loans are for people who don’t already own a home.

What you need

NIS card and TRN
Two forms of ID (one from the government)
Birth certificate (certified copy)
Job letter and your last 2 pay slips, or proof contributions are up to date if self-employed
Passport photo
Marriage certificate, if married
Buying: signed sale agreement, deposit receipt, valuation and surveyor’s report, title copy, tax certificate

Get an eligibility letter on the NHT online portal. It shows how much you can borrow and the rate.
Find the house or land and agree the price.
Gather documents using the NHT checklist.
Apply on the NHT online portal.
Attend your loan interview with the original documents.
Sign the loan papers once approved.
