Steps
- Get your shipping documents from the shipping agent. Pay any handling or storage fees there.
- Go to the warehouse where the barrel is kept.
- Show your passport or landing slip, TRN and shipping documents to the Customs Supervisor.
- Show your documents to warehouse security and wait while they find your barrel.
- When the Customs Officer tells you, open and unpack the barrel so it can be checked.
- Pay at the Customs Cashier. Some shipments can be paid on the JaCustoms Connect app.
- Take the Release Order to the Warehouse Operator for your gate pass, then take your barrel.
- Personal sea cargo under US$5,000? Ask for contactless clearance by emailing ccp@jca.gov.jm.
